  Landers Minisink Campground is not the place you want to set up camp. The location is beautiful right by the river but otherwise than that everything else is negative. The staff there are very rude and treat their customers with disdain. This is my second visit to this campground and I gave the benefit of the doubt thinking it was just one instance. But upon my second visit it was the same thing. I went to inform the staff that there wasn't anymore toilet tissue in the bathroom, the women attending to the desk yelled at me and stated if I have to hear about the bathroom one more time. The facilities there are absolutely filthy. Granted this is camping and your "roughing it" but I rather use the outdoors than use the bathroom facilities here. The women's bathroom was overtaken with moths and other bugs. Everywhere you looked there were bugs and they were flying at you. There are two sinks available to use but both were clogged to the brim. No one attended to this problem. There are only 2 toilets available to use in the entire camp site and 1 was out of order the span of my visit. About the showers the only good thing I can say about them was there was hot water. The drains are poorly draining. There were puddles of filthy water in the showers and the showers looked like if it wasn't cleaned in ages. My group was rather large, about 15 people, and everyone in my group stated that we would never go there again. I would advise that you avoid this campsite if you want good and clean facilities and customer service that are willing to help you.

  The staff was nice and accommodating as far as the river trips went. The grounds however were crowded and loud. The cabins and fire pits are right on top of each other. Our fire pit was right below the neighboring cabins deck. We could see and hear eveything that was happening in their overcrowded cabin while their was an argument going on. The delux cabins were right above us, and their music was blasting, and they were shouting over it to have a conversation. Not a typical camping experience. We left early on our second day rather then stay the night again.

  WARNING: This route may have whirlpools. even in nice weathers, and "even" when the water at the registration location plus the route start location should look extremely good, "There may still be whirlpools". Staff are very nice!, But i just wasn't told about the above
